Easy for me to say, right? Indeed. It's another factor that goes into the creative process. To change the way you think about the construction itself could end up making your puppets look ridiculous. Or not. Maybe an innovation in construction could end up being an innovation in look, feel, style. The electronics industry learned the lesson of modular construction long ago. When I fried a channel on my 4 track recorder, it was just that - ONE channel. The repairman popped out the module and replaced it with a good one.
