Subject: PUPT: Stop motion animation workshop

Hey everybody who is into stop motion animation puppetry!

Now is your chance to learn the art of a very unique type of puppetry, if
you don't already know how to do it. This is something that is hard to find
instruction for, and you usually have to attend a film or animation school just to
get one class in it. It is recently coming back into vogue thanks to Tim
Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Nick Park (Wallace and Grommit,
Chicken Run). If you've ever wondered how it is done, now is your chance to get
your hands on it.

Tom Brierton (Author of Armature Machining for Stop Motion
Animation), is giving a workshop on building armatures, creating
bodies with foam injection, moldmaking and teaching how to record the
animation. It's this December 12, 13, 14, and there are only 14
spaces left. Go to his website for more details:

Sign up for it so there are enough people to make the class possible.
I did! Let's get a bunch of us together so we can meet as well. That would
be great.
