Subject: Re: PUPT: Re: Help on commissioning a show

the questions on creating a commissioned show (or on commissioning one for
someone else to create) are of great interest to me right now, especially as
regards the writing of the show. is there a base figure, a scale, that a writer
for the puppet theatre starts at? or is it more an individual thing?

especially as so much of the work might be commissioned by a not-for-profit
theatre, i'm conscious that there may not be a lot of funds to throw around.
but it would be a great help if there was a general rule, about script cost
against percentage of the whole production; or, again, a scale to which one could
refer when writing for the puppet theatre.

thanks,

sean
