Cool!
I'm not surprised she likes Cookie Monster. As a kid, with no english, I
would watch Sesame Street all the time. And yes, I too was completely
fascinated with the monsters, the singing and dancing. My favorite has
always been Cookie Monster, followed closely by Oscar.
Perhaps it's the  originality of the beings: Furry and big, colorful, with
a funny voice.  Something you don't meet everyday.
Must be amazing to be have puppeteers at home, when growing up!
