I wouldn't think an Edgar Bergen book on ventriloquism would be the best 
buy.  He was noted for having lips that moved almost farther than the 
dummy's!  Of course he had the unique distinction of making ventriloquism 
work on the radio.  That's like having Fred Astaire dance . . . on a 
record.  (He's done it, by the way.)
