Subject: PUPT: If anybody knows, you may be a puppeteer on this list -  Pepe Carril from Cuba

Hi everybody

At our holiday guild meeting I was presented with a really charming mouse 
hand puppet.  On the lining inside is inscribed "Guignol Miami".  I'm told 
that the puppet's creator was Pepe Carril.  Not speaking Spanish, I'm at a 
dis-advantage for Google searching because most of the references come up in 
Spanish.  (did you know that Google translates Carril as Track?)

I also have an obit from May 1992, saying Pepe Carril died in Miami at age 
62 and that he had come to the states during the Mariel boatlift.

If anybody knows anything about Pepe Carril, please drop me a note.  I'd 
like to have some documentation for this puppet and possible some pictures 
of his other works and creations.
