I just realized that I omitted the discussion about possibly creating a library of Public Domain puppet books on CD. Perhaps with volunteer effort, al la, the Gutenburg project. (An effort to make classic works of literature freely available on the net) However, I think the biggest issue is finding such works. Most puppet books are still under copyright. The copyright owner must be tracked down to get permission, and that task may be daunting. But, I've never really tried to do this, so I really don't know what is involved. Anyone have any ideas where to start if I want to track down the copyright holder of a book from 1920's?
