Thanks Serra, I was getting restless, trying to find the proper type of
elastic. Nothing I have would work!, and I have a few diff types! I hapen to
remember a costume place I have yet to visit, and they sell ballet slippers
to professionnals! They should have the elastic you suggested.

And Thanks Nancy Smith, I always forget about the "no need to have it
perfect  cause the audience is far" guideline. I'm a sick perfectionist. It
hinders my freedom!

After reading both your message, I had a flash! It could work!
I'll try to make a hard  top-of-the-arm piece, and wrap the hollowed fabric
arm around it.
If I combine this with the elastic, it could be my solution! But I'll try it
before I declare victory.

I have a bear hand puppet (no pun intended, it is a BEAR) to make soon, and
it will be my first real try with fake fur.So your explanation will come in
handy, thanks Nancy!

But hey folks, keep the suggestion coming, I have so many puppets to make I
could try them all!
