Well Gidday,
we are currently putting together a proposal to feature puppets in the Folkloric Venue at www.woodfordfolkfestival.com and are looking for Puppeteers experienced in folk puppetry that reflects the traditional culture (which is not necessarily the culture of the puppeteer although that would be helpful!!!), Karagoz, Wayang Kulit, Bunraku etc etc etc.
The pay is pathetic, the accomodation is rough but the atmosphere is unbeleivable and the location is pretty close to paradise (and Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunters home. . . CRIKEY!!!!)
We can provide musicians, technical support Visa assistance and assist with other performance opportunities, including more contemporised performances at the festival and in Australia as well as workshop facilitation and participation.
If you were planning to celebrate New Years Eve 2005 in style. . . . why not at Woody?
