Michelle

are you going to have 8 slide projectors?
or just 4 pairs?
or just one or two

your best bet is to contact a company that does trade shows and rents that
type of equipment.
You could also contact Kodak and ask them how provided you have a Kodak
projector.
They might be able to help you.

by the way depending on how it is set up one computer can run many feeds to
projectors.

The slide shows where you heard an audible cue for the most part were
manually cued. the operator heard the beep then changed the slide or film
strip.

I do not believe you can get your slide projector to change to the cue with
out an exterior device to read the cue and activate the change.

If you know someone with electronic experience they might be able to make
one using items you might be able to get. maybe a device at radio shack
that would put out a signal when it receive either an audio cue or
electronic pulse and then sent out the right signal to the projector.

Again check for an old Wolonsack unit. it would control either one or two
projectors and you can make a tape with cue and music but the sound will be
low fidelity.

Good luck
