Subject: PUPT: Planning ahead for Halloween!


Hello puppetcritters!
 
Drama of Works (in NYC) is planning to again produce their Carnival of Samhain festival the first weekend of November. We are putting a much larger effort into quality, publicity and cohesiveness than we have the past two years, and as a result we are planning much farther ahead. We are also hoping to mix it up a bit with more out of towners and first time Samhainers. So, if you haven't participated before or could drive in for the event, please don't hesitate to contact us!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – CARNIVAL OF SAMHAIN 2004!

Drama of Works is again producing their smash hit late night Halloween cabaret extravaganza this fall in good ole' NYC! (Venue and exact dates and times TBA)

If you have a 5-15 minute piece that is already moody, spooky, filled with vampires, black cats, devils, skeletons, day of the dead imagery or would like to make one, please email us and let us know about it. We are looking to include puppet pieces, dance pieces, spoken word, circus acts and musical acts (with the majority being puppet pieces).

(You may be asked to provide a script or video to help us in our selection.)

Space on our apartment floors (and travel reimbursement) is available for out-of-town people and a split of the box office will be shared by all!
