Subject: PUPT: Turkish shadow help


We have some leather shadow puppets from Turkey that are getting brittle.  
Does anyone know the best treatment for this?  Also, we would like to be able to 
manipulate them but we don't have controls or the little collar that goes in 
the holes to accept the rods.  Clever ideas?
