Hi gang,

I'm a little behind with my puppet building for my current project and I got an unexpected break from my freelance work for a day or two this week so inspired by the 24 Hour Comic and 24 Hour Film phenomenon I've decided to challenge myself to build one of the "Bear Town" characters in 48 hours (`cause I need a little more than a day). Not sure if I can do it, but I'm going to try. I'm building a new, improved version of a hand and rod foam puppet character I had originally built ten years ago when I first got started in puppetry.

I'll be posting updates and pics in my blog at http://www.bear-town.com/mt/ every few hours as work progresses over the next two days. There's some initial stuff up there right now and I should have the first update posted around 4 pm EST.

Feel free to take a peek over the next two days if you're interested or curious.

- Andrew
