Subject: PUPT: Opportunities for aspiring puppeteers at Walt Disney World

I found the following information recently on the Walt Disney World Cast
Member (Disney-speak for 'employee') website.  After making a call, I was
told by an extremely helpful casting person that non-Disney employees can
also take part in the workshop/audition.  Although I don't have more
information than is posted below, any interested puppeteers-in-training,
particularly in the Central Florida area, should call the number given.
Disney offers lots of opportunities for puppeteers and this would be a good
way to get a foot in the door and gain some experience while having a lot of
fun.
==============================The Walt Disney World Character Casting Department will hold a Puppeteer
Workshop on March 31 at 7pm to audition for puppeteer roles.  The
beginner-level workshop will be held at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Rehearsal Rooms on Sherbeth Rd.  Interested individuals should be at least 5
feet tall and should call (407) 397-3886 Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm for further
information.
