Kurt Hunter and the inimitable Paul Eide are also coming from MN. Finally! Also, the deadline to register without a late fee is now July 1st. <www.Regional2004.com<http://www.regional2004.com/>> There are a lot of PuptCritters working on this festival: Bonny & Jamie of Crabgrass Puppet Theatre are heading up the workshops, Ms. Deborah Costine (LucretiaG) is designing and organizing the exhibit, and Steve Abrams and I are working with Bart Roccoberton on the show selections. Other Critters will be there... Steve Kaplin is performing with his company Chinese Theatre Works, Fred Greenspan's performing his Punch & Judy, Heidi Rugg is performing her luscious "Galapagos George" (and Sam is doing a foot-controlled sound workshop), Dave Regan is in "Butterfly Dreams (and had a lot to do with the creation of that piece), Lindsey Briggs is showing her Documentary on Rufus & Margo Rose, Debra Wise is performing with her Underground Railway Theatre, and David Syrotiak will be there performing too! Marianne Tucker (aka Tucktale, who's president of UNIMA-USA) will be there running the UNIMA events, Chris Hudert is on the Board, so he'll be there early for meetings. Will Stackman and Mark Segal are reportedly attending too. Did I forget anyone? Seems like there might be a critical mass of us there. Anyone else coming? Should we plan a "Puptcrit Meet-up"? Make identifying buttons? Anyway, thought this might be of interest to some. Let us know who else might be there. We're putting the registration packets together at the theatre... we could easily slip something identifying into the ones of the Critters. Anyone designed a Puptcrit logo yet? Cheers!
