Hi sa-cyborgs,

I'm a new subscriber and just wanted to introduce myself.  Things
have been pretty slow since I subscribed so I've taken a look at some of
the archives to find out what this group is about.  I've really enjoyed
the poems and other creative writing that different members have shared.
I'm trying hard to "be" a writer myself these days, but I'm really at the
very very beginning.  I'm reading a book called Flaming Spirit by the
Asian Women Writer's Collective, published by Virago Press.  Has anyone
else read it?  The introduction is really interesting. It gives a history
of the collective, what they've tried to do, etc.   I wonder if anyone
else out there would be interested in starting such a collective over the
net-or otherwise?
