and I read       white

white/black breasted nation algeographic
gazeye knowledgeablepower

and the whiteaustralianboy drugged out sleeps on the leather tutorial seat
saying I didn't get up today because nothing came up about
whiteheterosexualmales

faces that read

while I goonandon aboutracegenderandclass andthebolivianswhoweresterilizedbythe
badassedpeacecorps ortheamericanswhohelpedmassacrepeasantsinsouthamerica

my skin

oncetheylearnedaboutthe universality oftheirartandtheirknowledgeandtheirmight

brown            a sign

whichstillradiateslikeawhitehotspearthroughthefleshofthosethatliveanddieinthis
theageofneocolonialgrandeur

that I speak

butnowtheytireoflearningaboutculturaldifferenceandminorityoppressedgroups
toomuchworktheysayandwhydowehavetolearnhistoriesofdarknessandstruggle

but will not be heard
