but honesty is dangerous

i have learnt it

the bitter way - haven't you ever?

even those so called

professors of the virtue

cringe from it

i'm so obsecenely honest

they say, but call it exaggeration

then ,

then why do i need honesty?

to slash ripples in my tranquility?

to make my dextrous world

turn and spin sinisterly?

why does honsesty disorient me?

calling a spade a spade

a prosaic virtue, never mine

don't give me the thing about honesty

i need a fix of fairy fables

that end happily ever after

i promise,

i'll believe them, honestly...
