Subject: Re: VIEWING/ANALYSIS PROPOSAL


My proposal, following Karen's hint, is Altman's _Short Cuts_.  
I propose we (meaning those who are interested) see it within some
very finite period of time and then discuss how it's put together
in terms of Deleuze's notion of framing/cutting/montage.  
However, I only want to do it myself if there is sufficient commitment
to this project on the part of the list.  So those who find this idea 
interesting, and who are willing to get hold of the film, watch it,
and then actively participate in a discussion, should let me know
by personal e-mail (ma-AT-dsd.camb.inmet.com), and we'll see what
transpires.
