Re: fifty years since Independence.

Speakers from India and Pakistan are planning a speaking tour to the UK
in September/October, organised by Left groups in the UK and affiliated
Comms in South Asia. Anyone who can get their Institution or group to
contribute some money and put on a talk could get in touch with Amrit
Wilson. I have contact details if you can. The speakers themselves are
not confirmed as yet, but a modest contribution would secure a fine
'event' for your centre, place of work, departmental seminar, whatever.
