Reading of the non-essential subject - Grewal's essay, understanding it
ata very personal level....
with Shiela Chandra's "struggle" and then "nada brahma" - adding to my
understanding/thought/feeling of the "nonessential" subject .
yet unable to articulate.

struggling... too....

who said "Theory" could not be personal, emotional?

we, who have a lot invested in thinking about "postcoloniality" and
"identity"
and "self"...

for us self-expression can hardly ever be apolitical.....

To breathe evenly is sometimes a struggle.

and the voice/sound (nada) of the "Self" is submerged - if it is indeed
there...
