Hans:
In the statement "Capitalism is REAL", what does a critical realist mean by "real"?
Does s/he mean:
(1) capitalism is not ahistorical-- not a feature of human nature (against the "we are all greedy argument").
(2)  capitalism is an emergent system different but dependent on human activity during a historically specific epoch.
(3)  not just "in our heads"
(4)  all of the above
am i missing anything else??
