The conference will bring together Alabama writers and literary scholars for a three-day celebration and discussion of Alabama's literary heritage. Hosted by Alabama Southern College, the conference will feature readings and lectures by Mark Childress, Charles McNair, Judith Richards, and other writers and scholars. >The organizers invite scholars with interests in Alabama literature or orality to participate in the conference.
