8ème colloque philosophique international franco-allemand
8. Internationales französisch-deutsches Philosophie-Kolloquium

Evian (Lake Geneva/Lac Leman/Genfer See), France, July 14-20, 2001

Topic / Thème / Thema

What is Practice (Use): Constitution or Subversion?
Was bedeutet Praxis (Gebrauch): Konstitution oder Subversion?

--------------------------------

The goal of the International French-German Philosophy Colloquium is to
bring Continental philosophy, and in particular contemporary French
philosophy, into dialogue with other philosophical traditions. With this
year's theme, "What is Practice (Use): Constitution or Subversion?", the
Colloquium focuses on a concept which is central to several strains of
contemporary philosophical discussion and which is treated very differently
in various philosophical schools.
The goal of the Colloquium is to investigate and discuss this concept in an
historically informed and systematic fashion.
A more detailed description of the Colloquium and this year's theme, as well
as information on accommodation, can be found (in English, French and
German) on our homepage:

http://www.uni-giessen.de/~gm28/evian/homepage.htm

Call for Papers:
Proposals for papers or workshops should be at least one-half page in length
and should be submitted as soon as possible to one of the organizers.
Proposals received before March 31, 2002 can be guaranteed consideration.

--------------------------------

http://www.uni-giessen.de/~gm28/evian/homepage.htm

Call for Papers:

http://www.uni-giessen.de/~gm28/evian/homepage.htm

Call for Papers:
