One thing strikes me.

I do not see the review "Internationale Situationiste" itself (number 1 to 
12 , 1958 to 1969). That was collected as a book (in French) by  Van Gennep 
- Amsterdam. And has been re-printed several times in France by several 
publishers.

I am tired, I might be a bit blind.

But there MUST be an English equivalent of that, no?

Just a dream about copyright...
Suppose that you write a program which encodes a copyrighted SI book into a 
binary file (let's say as the tables of a finite state automata machine) and 
suppose that you execute the resulting binary file on the first available 
piece of hardware. Do you still legally need to pay the publisher who owns 
the SI book to execute your program on any available computer ?

After all, a publisher is basically selling a packaging, not the information 
itself.

I know that they are putting trademarks on bits and pieces of the human 
genom, I know they are selling radio frequencies which are nothing else that 
pure numbers after all, but what will happen when there will be really a 
trademark on the integers, on the numbers themselves, will it really help 
them when doing their accounting in the evening ?
