Hi Carlos,

Yes, I understand the difficulity of language only to well, havingg
tried DESPERATELY to learn even a tiny bit of French year after year
after year. Please do not let this discourage you. Shit, I don't even
speak good English (being an American).......

There have been many studies in English concerning Science Fiction and
what is called Horror (or, oddly, GENRE) in the cinema. I agree that
there is alot of room for comparisons with Surrealism. I believe a man
named Lo Duca wrote a very good book on the Surrealist film, and I
think he also did one on the Horror film. Also Forrest J. Ackerman, who
is the father of the Science Fiction/ Horror film in America, has
written many things, and even has a Museum (I think in Los Angeles,
California).

I have a rather large collection of books dealing with the Horror
movie, and specializing on the Vampire (with a sub-speciality on
peodephilic vampires). If I can help you with any information in this
area, I would be happy to do so.

The post-card I sent you, was exactly the same as the one sent to Greg
Simpson.

Yes, I am aware of the similiar avenues in our work... I went to your
web-exhibition shortly after you announced it. A friend of mine is
opening an on-line gallery shortly, and will exhibit some of my
drawings. I will announce this when it is "open".

Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish. However, growing up in Los
Angeles, I automatically learned what "we" call Spanish, which is
Mexican. I was able to make myself understood in Barcelona, but like my
French, my Spanish is still "horrible".

Wm.
