... I am going to list the same.

I may have a somewhat unique thing to offer. Because of my age (I'm
beginning to fear I am the oldest member of this list), I have known
those artists in San Francisco, both as my teachers, fellow students,
artists I exhibited with, and simply people who were associated with
the rather odd branch of surrealist art which developed in the late
1950's in San Francisco (California), and continued through the early
1970's (except in the case of people like myself who are still
"continuing"). This group combined the effect of living in San
Francisco (the GOTHICK architecture, the fogs,), with the emergance of
Existentialism, and oddly, West-Coast Zen. This was then put into a
grinder called "automatisme".

Many of these people did their best work years ago. Some are dead, but
I could probably get slides without a problem. Some were known as
surrealist artists back then, and a few are, today, famous (in the
scheme of things). I also have artists in Paris, through the PHASES
mouvement, who I could contact.

As there has been no decision made as to any sense of who, or what will
delinate this exhibition, I don't know if (say), dead artists will
qualify? (In which case, I guess I'm in trouble)... or (say), work done
20 year (or 40 years) ago?

...............................

I am affiliated with no group other than exhibiting through PHASES, and
my friendship with GPMS.

..................................

I have no computor skills beyond my ability to type with one finger,
and it appears I may not even have the ability to send those messages
with any great success.

......................................

I do have a rather extensive library of books, catalogues, magazines,
etc., covering the art both Surrealist, and evolved through- or out
>from - surrealism..... I can do certain amounts of "historical"
research using these.
