Thanks for looking at my site. Your question is perfecty legitimate.  I 
realized after sending the message that this might come up.  Pehaps the 
term "personal vision" might be better.

Much detail is lost.  My main concern was to make the large image fit on 
the screen without the need for scrolling .  These images look 
considerably better on my mac (to which I originally scanned the photos 
of the work)  than on my IBM.  The difference is either the monitor or  
the way the computer processes the image.  I'm guessing the second.  Do 
you think a larger image would be better ?

Although I like Dali's work (more so in the past than now) I've never 
used his paranoid critical method. My work is more closely related to 
Ernst in method and I'm very fond of the paintings of Matta.  Some of the 
paintings done freehand with the airbrush (ie: "mythical encrustations) 
developed quickly and spontaneously from gestural doodles in which I saw 
the images and pulled them out. The titles are alway thought up after the 
work is complete.

I've also visited your site a few times and like your work.
