I have the same problem, I wish I could help...

If you really want to know more about surrealism, then do what I did: dive
right in the deep end, post something to the list articulating your views on
what "surrealism is" and watch the sparks fly... I for one would be
interested to know your thoughts [as I am sure others would be]...
