Greetings to all on the surrealist,

I am currently working on a book or pamphlet about surrealism,
partially as a response to a book yet to be published in the U.S. by the
Situationist Raoul Vaneigem called "A Cavalier History of Surrealism." A
friend got me an advance copy from AK press in San Francisco where it
will be published sometime in the next few months I imagine if it hasn't
been already...

I'm looking for some perspectives on surrealism from those who
consider themselves practising surrealists. Topics I'm interested in
covering are--

Countering critiques of surrealism from the radical
mileu--answering/refuting charges that surrealism continues on in a way
as determined by the past, too often limited to "art" and "literature"
or other fixed mediums rather than daily life experiences...

Providing empowering experiential information about the relation
between surrealism and magic, how the Marvellous and the "spiritual" are
intertwined due to the creative exploration and expression of the
faculties,

Accounts of all other surrealist experiences, techniques,
collaborations, etc, especially new departures and interpretations of
the vibratory bodies that compose the surrealist movement. Also, any
critiques of the existing (traditional) body of surrealist theory and
practice by those who were originally inspired by it.

Please post any inquiries here if you would.

                            Energy is Eternal Delight,

                                        Kriya Shibek
