by way of explanation:

the original communication was specifically between us and
chicago.  we, did however, want the larger movement to be aware of
our objections and the basis for those objections.

so we have no problem with it finding its way, however
accidentally, to this list.

when we sent the original e-mail, i tried to organize a
distribution list as condensed as possible while still getting a
copy to the various centers of activity for which we had contact
information (and those individuals who have shown interest in what
we are doing).  in retrospect i think the original distribution
was _too_ condensed as i missed several people.

but by all means.  if we hear from chicago we'll post their
response.
