Subject: Service interruptions -- PLEASE READ


Dear All,

The computers at our Virginia site are being moved.  As a result, we have
been warned of possible temporary service interruptions over the next
three weeks.  These interruptions are scheduled for the off-hours and
are supposed to be mostly invisible to list users.  However, we have
just experienced one that lasted from mid-afternoon yesterday to mid-today,
and was neither off nor invisible.  So please be prepared for some shakiness
in this regard.  Don't refrain from posting, but do save your messages
until you see them appear, and if a message bounces back, please just
re-send it.  And expect things to take longer than usual.
