Subject: Work, unemployment and leisure


I am interested in the effects of technology on society.

I hope this comes under the catagory of "philosophy of technology."
I have only just joined this group and haven't recieved any mail 
yet.  I sent my "subscribe technology email off so I hope I'm 
properly subscribed.

I am particularly interested in voluntary work and extending leisure 
as alternatives to unemployment.  Is anyone interested in this 
subject.
