Shashwati,

I'm not sure if you're looking for stuff specifically on the poco male
hero/body or more general stuff on masculinity in cinema or what. There is
some interesting stuff written on American film, that looks at the male
(often action) hero's body as inseparable from American politics, ideas of
nationhood, and so on (if I remember the texts correctly). One is a
collection of essays called _Screening the Male_ (I think there might be an
emphasis on the horror film there, but I can't quite remember) and another
is called _Spectacular Bodies_ (focuses on the body of the action hero).
They may not be appropriate for your project, but I thought I'd suggest
them.
