When I saw the post I assumed (meaning no "harm") that Beaty was an immature,
lonely, first world male looking for companionship (again meaning no "harm").
His attempt at an apology ("have a nice day" attitude) was in keeping with
what I assume is his ignorance and insensitivity to all women. 
To Beaty: If you really made your request in ignorance please partake in a
discussion with the rest of the members so that you and we may learn why you
acted in this way.
