I am glad you answered and really hope that you can make it to the festival.

As for the contents of the festival, I quote an article that appeared in the New York Amsterdam News.....

Humanize New York....

Why don’t people respect each other? Why are our jobs so removed from our lives? Why is money valued more highly than people? Why are we indoctrinated to be consumers? How can we ensure that our children are educated properly? How will the globalization of captial affect our quality of life? How can we hold our leaders responsible for what they do? How can we make people value people?

	Do these questions affect you? Then, Saturday, 22 of June, PS 41 in the Village (116 W 11th street) is the place for you to be. 

	Between 1 pm and 6 pm New Humanists organize a festival “Humanize New York”. There will be World Music Rave, theater performance, dance, games for body&soul, workshops for children and adults. It is a festival of participation, reflection and communication. New Humanists will present their Humanist City plan, numerous neighborhood projects, a worldwide campaign “World Witout Wars”, coalitions for educations, Humanist Neighborhood papers, Humanist Center of Cultures, the magazine DiverseCity, internet projects, new models of education, alternative health project, projects for direct democracy and much, much more.
