In reply to Sushma Joshi's post on Spivak: she recently published a piece
titled "'Woman' as Theatre" which was a report on the Beijing Conference on
Women in RADICAL PHILOSOPHY (it was the January 1996 issue; sorry, I don't
have the issue number handy). It was most interesting because it was a very
polemical piece, without much of the sort of opaque prose that everyone
associates with her work. Have people on this list read the piece? Any
reactions?
