Hi all, I would like to introduce myself as I don't remember clearly if I did.
I am taking my prelims in november. My topic regards the potential use of
chicana novels of mestizaje (of being in between cultures) in secondary
school classroom. Could anyone suggest writers of novles or chicana
cultural critics who would fit this?
I have read some works by Ansaldua, Cherrie Moraga, Roberta Fernandez, and
Eysturoy. But I am in dire need of much more. Maybe even pointing me to
certain presses or universities that may have this info?
Much ablidged I will be for my advisors are not at all experts in this manner.
So I am taking advantage of
Michelle Molina's request which I echo and add a request of my own.
Any takers?
Saludos,
Elena :)
