i've been waway from the states for a while, and
have been surprised to learn via e-mail how
quickly the sides are being drawn sometimes,
with code worrds, denoting who's who.  my work
still draws from the inspiration of all the
"influences" that you speak of, and i find
that i can't, well, refuse to be located by
someone else to take one side agasint antoher.
