Subject: Anti-Nuclear March in Calcutta, Delhi

For once we have THE PROGRESSIVE reporting not on bride burning or the
``oppressed Indian women'' but on the huge anti-nuclear march of
the Hiroshima Day organized and marched by women (I was a part of this
rally) in Calcutta on August 6.

We the ``oppressed women of the third world'' do not always get
burnt, we have agencies too. I would like to know how many ``ladies''
in this country marched with ``sex-workers'', we could bring them
with us too.

In Solidarity,

Rinita
