Subject: AHR April 2001 update and an urgent petition

Hi,

I've pasted _Australian Humanities
Review_'s latest update below.

Before April 15, would you consider
signing an online petition? It's
accessible from our home page at:
http://www.lib.latrobe.edu.au/AHR/
and it calls on 39 pharmaceutical
companies to drop their lawsuit
against the South African government.
The lawsuit is blocking the implementation
of legislation that aims to improve
access to essential medicines
by making drugs more affordable.

Thanks,

Diane Caney
